That’s probably the general question sitting in most people’s minds. How many days are left until the end of the year?
You might be asking yourself what you actually got done this year, how many goals you crossed off, and so on. And if you’re anything like me, you shut the shades on the world and slipped into a flow state.
I want to say I was really focused this year. I actually was. It went so fast yet felt so slow. It was good and bad at the same time, and I know I can’t be the only one who feels that.
The energy feels thick, yet somehow thin. It feels like humans have given up. The world is in chaos. People are starving. The government has gone rogue, and citizens are so desensitized that they can’t even comprehend what’s happening. Everyone is pressing record and shouting into a digital screen while we fade away slowly.
It’s wild, to say the least. Dystopian, if you will.
I lost my mind a few years ago, and honestly, I don’t intend on getting it back. What I do intend to do is try my best to embrace all the changes that have been forced upon me. My time is limited. I’ve made my mark. I’ve reached my heights. In this chapter, I’ll coast. I’ll travel backward through time, revisiting my life and reflecting.
“I’m so free yet so trapped.”
If you’ve made it this far, I hope you make it through this winter creatively, mentally, and physically. 2025 has tested us all, and if you’re honest with yourself, 2026 may hit harder. But just like yesterday, we made it to today.
With that said, take a moment to write down everything you see for yourself in 2026 and beyond, and start the journey toward making it happen.
The thoughts of others will always remain just that. You control more than you think. Be present and be willing to accept the consequences.
Lastly, get back to you. If that means revisiting your childhood self, then do it.
Hope this helps, and Thanks.
