Would You Do It If No One Was Watching?

Yeah, I’m talking to you.

And this post… this one right here… won’t be like the others. It’s not a soft, pat on the back kind of read. It’s not here to make you feel comfortable or gently guide you toward your dreams.

No, this one is the slap in the face truth you’ve probably been avoiding.

You chose to read this. You clicked it. You tapped it. That means, on some level, you know you need it.

So let’s get real for a minute.

Would you do it if no one was watching?

That thing you say you love, that dream you keep saying is yours…would you still chase it if no one clapped, liked, shared, or reposted it?

Because most people don’t.

They wait until someone’s watching. They wait until they’re validated. Until they’re told it’s “good.”
And that’s where they lose.

The Lies You Keep Telling Yourself

You tell yourself you’re trying.
You tell yourself you’re working on it.
You tell yourself you’re waiting for the right time.

But if you’re honest, brutally honest…you’re just scared.
Scared to start, scared to fail, scared to look foolish.
And because of that fear, you hide behind pretty excuses that sound responsible.

“I’m just preparing.”
“I’m still researching.”
“I just want it to be perfect.”

No. You just want approval.
You want someone to tell you, “Okay, now you can go.”

But that’s not how this works.
No one’s coming to sprinkle confidence on you.
No one’s coming to give you permission.

You lack discipline because you’ve gotten too comfortable waiting for inspiration.
And here’s the truth: discipline is doing it when no one’s watching.

I’ve Been There Too

When I first started my creative journey, I didn’t have eyes on me either.

No audience, no following, no “buzz.”
It was just me… in my room, creating. Sometimes late into the night, sometimes early in the morning, and sometimes on days when I wanted to quit altogether.

And believe me, I had doubts.
But I also had this one question that kept me in check:
Would you do it if no one was watching?

And every time the answer was yes, I kept going.
Because that’s when you know it’s real. That’s when you know its purpose.

See, I don’t create because people expect me to. I don’t move because of applause. I do it because I love it. Because it fills me up. Because even if no one ever saw it, it would still matter to me.

That’s authenticity. That’s alignment.

And ironically, when you start doing things from that space, the right people start watching anyway.

Stop Decorating Your Comfort Zone

You say you want more, but your comfort zone looks too damn cozy. You’ve decorated it with your favorite excuses framed them on the walls, polished them up, and you visit them every time life gets uncomfortable.

“It’s not the right time.”

“I don’t have the resources.”

“I’m not ready.”

You’ve made those words your home.
And the longer you stay there, the smaller your dreams get.

So here’s your challenge: stop redecorating your comfort zone and start renovating your reality.

Get uncomfortable.
Mess up.
Start ugly.
Do it scared.

Because the truth is…no one’s watching anyway.
At least, not yet.

From This Moment Forward

You are no longer allowed to use the word “can’t.”
You are no longer allowed to overthink yourself into paralysis. And you are absolutely no longer allowed to wait for validation before you move.

If you really want it, prove it.
Not to me. Not to the world.

“To yourself!”

So here’s your reminder:
The only thing standing between you and the life you say you want…is you.

Let’s Get You Moving

If you’re ready to stop talking and start doing… I want to help you.

Book a 1:1 Creative Direction Session with me.
Let’s break down those mental walls, get you clear on your vision, and build a plan that makes you unstoppable.

You don’t need permission.
You just need direction.

And maybe, a little tough love, from someone who’s been right where you are.

Because this time, you won’t just say you’re ready.
You’ll actually prove it.

Hope this helps,

-B
