A Journey of Connection, Creativity, and Community
As I sit back and reflect on the incredible journey of The Social Tour, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride. What started as a humble vision has blossomed into a thriving community of creators, innovators, and dreamers, and it’s all thanks to you—our members.
Seven years ago, The Social Tour began as a simple idea: to create a space where creators could connect, share, and build. We saw an opportunity to bring together like-minded individuals, each with their own unique craft and vision, and build a community that would support and inspire one another. In the beginning, our membership was free, and the focus was purely on passion—no fees, no formalities, just a desire to create and connect.
Five years ago, we took a huge step forward—opening the doors to our physical space. This wasn’t just a LITTLE space—it was the heart of The Social Tour, a place where the magic could truly happen. It was here that we began our Podcast, offering 1:1 and group workshops, creative direction, intimate pop ups, and the chance for members to engage with one another in person. The space quickly became a home for creativity, where dreams were nurtured, collaborations formed, and lasting connections made.
During these years, we also began to expand our services, offering our members quality on a budget. launching specialized activities like Pass the Aux, Photowalks, along side clubs like Photography, Videography, and Film, as well as The Lab, a weekly brainstorming and collaboration session where members could refine their ideas and push creative boundaries. The community was growing, and so was the value we could provide.
As The Social Tour grew, so did the need to continue improving and expanding our services. We moved from offering memberships at $0 to a modest $12 per month, and eventually to the $450 a year we’ve been at for the past few years. Each increase reflected our investment in providing more value to you—our members.
Now, as we look toward the future, we’ve made the decision to raise our annual membership fee to $1,200 starting January 1, 2025. This decision wasn’t made lightly. It reflects the incredible growth of The Social Tour, the expansion of our programs, and the added resources and services we now offer, including:
- One monthly workshop and one creative direction session
- Exclusive access to clubs like Photography, Videography, and Film Club
- Discounts on professional services
- The upcoming MBRS ONLY portal, featuring curated creative resources
This increase ensures we can continue offering world-class experiences, maintain a sustainable community, and provide the highest level of support to help you reach your creative goals.
Why This Matters?
The price increase is not just about the numbers—it’s about ensuring that The Social Tour remains a place where creativity can flourish without limits. It’s about ensuring that we can keep providing the resources, programs, and opportunities that have helped so many of you succeed. From workshops that teach new skills to creative direction sessions that push you to refine your craft, every part of this community is designed to help you thrive.
